Still Life
Still life is the use of objects using mostly fruit, bowls etc. This could be man made objects or natural objects.
Worst Photo
Clearly, this is the worst picture. I had my shutter really low and my white balance was extremely bright making the picture washed out as well as blurry. There was really no direction or central focus within this.
It then got a little bit better - it wasn't washed out anymore and I was liking the moody, dark setting however, it was to dark to see the background and some of the other props
This was the my best one - personally, I love the dark feeling, it looks like an autumn, Halloween feeling. You can see the background and the other props. I personally love the dim, moody aspect you receive from this. I could've chosen to make it bright but, having it in another colour really exemplifies another mood.
Pumpkin Setup
Oriental Setup
There was a lot of experiments with still life considering that the past couple of weeks, we had been learning about the basics. It was fun to position the objects, and get some good pictures by effects and camera settings, i.e; White Balance, rule of thirds and aperture.
My Best Picture
Personally, this photo was by far, my favorite from the still life, with this specific location.
I had picked a starting point and used aperture to blur out the background and make the fan, be the main object of the picture.
I like the effect it has, it makes it more intriguing and unique to look at.

Worst photo
This photo, wasn't my best. It had to much of an orange colour to it and considering that the room already had an orange light illuminating everything, it gave such a bad colour to my photo with adding tungsten as my white balance effect. My positioning, was misplaced. You can see an unnecessary pink box and, I didn't like my aperture as much. So, I ended up changing my white balance to flash so, there could be a white colour to the picture, position my camera low and blur out, very well, my background - that was my best photo (as shown above).
