Aperture
Aperture (similar to depth of field) is like an eye of the camera, were one adjusts the f- stops depending on how much light they need.
The lower the f stops (numbers with decimal points e.g; f/1.4 or f/3.5) the more light is passed which also makes the shutter speed faster
The higher the f stops (number without decimal points e.g; f/4 or f/11 ) the less light is passed.
It all depends on what type of photo you’re taking.
Were you use lower f - stops in order to add light and zoom in - this can also blur the background
