Alphabet Photography
My initial theme, was to look around my area of space to see what I could find (my home). But as the days progressed, I came to a realisation that I'll have to be more creative and more vigilant of the surroundings, and what I can do with the alphabet. I wanted to make sure that it was easily noted that this was a theme taken in my house, or creatively thought about so, I didn't focus to much on the background because, it gives that house feeling.
Letters that didn't have straight lines such like, S, N, or J etc, were very hard to do because, it would come out looking very abstract, and not in a nice way. I either had to use 2 objects to form the letter, like the letter P or I had to think for a couple of minutes at how I could manifest what I had, into the letter such as Y and J. Walking around the house looking for alphabets is something that was very hard because, that's not what you do everyday. I had to literally open my eyes in order to see what was around me.
From this project, I learnt that not everything is going to come out perfect or be as easy as it sounds because, I thought that it would be a simple task but, I later realised I needed to put the effort in however, in terms of the final result, I learnt that I need precise shots and something quite clear so, people can tell it's the alphabet I am taking photos of.
Looking at my images together, and other peoples' images, I definitely need to go back and improve some of the alphabets like, N or make sure the images are in shot. For instance, E was not in shot as well as F. Maybe adding in a plain background here and there would enhance the image (it will look professional) but making sure that it looks home - like as well because, that was my theme. As well as refining them, I need to make sure they are in focus and if it is not, does it look good like that or not?
Nature Shoot
I chose to do a "nature" themed shoot but I specified it to also be different shades of green. I love how wild life and nature makes a photo look very alluring and beautiful, but you can also edit it to look dramatic or scary - it just depends. People can also be a part of the shoot (weddings, family photos etc) because nature makes the photo look very appeasing to the eye, when looking back at it, so it was the best theme for me to do.
For my shoot, I went to Rochdale, in a back garden full filled with various flowers and illuminating shades of green. Gardens' there were very unique and it was a great opportunity to enhance my photography, via my phone. The project wasn't hard at all considering that everything I needed was in my choice of location. All I needed to do was have an open eye in order to not make the photos generic looking.
I learnt that photography can be taken anywhere as long as there is an appropriate location, and a device to take the pictures. However, reflecting on my photos, I do feel that to further develop them, I could've added in some type of view as in, birds eye view, worms eye view, middle view or maybe even a bit of composition.

Textures Of Pink
This was my second personal shoot looking at different textures of pink around my house. It shows that pink is pink but, when you look more in depth and detail, there's different shades and aspects within the colour. For example, I took the colour pink from a towel, box, carpet, bin, blinds and the matres cover of the bed.
